Sometimes you might feel down and wonder how to change negative thinking. I only wish you could know how very possible and simple that is.
The first thing you might want to look at is to notice if it is coming from something in the present. If not, then many times it can be those hidden subconscious beliefs that you have only because they were taught to you by someone else.
New discoveries show that your thoughts influence what chemicals are released into your bloodstream. Your thinking is something you can control but I NEVER tell someone to just change their thinking. Most people can’t just change that negative thinking because they want to. It is an automatic process that takes control and dominates your thought process when there are subconscious wounds in there that get activated.
In my coaching sessions, I teach how to use techniques-the same ones that work for me.
I had to learn how to stop those reactions and that is why I became a coach and do the work I do with clients. I know what it feels like to have an automatic reaction that you can’t seem to control. I grew up with those reactions and that is why I used to have a lot of health problems. Thankfully I found answers and changed my life.
But also realize that sometimes the negative thinking is coming from something you can take control of. If things aren’t going your way, you can try to get outside of your own head and observe the situation in an unattached way. Once you determine to change, there are many things you can do.
There are simple things like writing yourself a note so you notice the self-talk going on in your head. Then you can “just say no.” And I mean that literally. You can train your brain. You can pretend it is a child and that you are going to teach it how to change negative thinking. Really! It worked for me.
