Learning how to love yourself can be one of the most beneficial things you can do because how you feel about yourself creates a resonance that others pick up on. They may not know why they don’t feel real comfortable around you, but the feeling will affect them.
When it is appropriate and seems helpful for reaching their goal, I ask clients to look in a mirror every day and notice the feeling that comes over them when they say, “I love you” to themselves.
So often when things aren’t going as a person would like, it is because they were programmed as a child to feel unworthiness. Many parents, teachers and authority figures don’t realize that a child is in a hypnotic state until they are about 7 years old. They simply absorb information and it becomes the programming that runs their life until the end of it. That is, unless they do something to change it.
Your feelings have everything to do with everything, inside of your body and outside of it. So feelings should be monitored constantly. You are constantly reflecting back on previous experiences and acting in the present because of them. So when you don’t really feel comfortable with yourself and worthy of love from others or money or success, you will find a way to keep from having it. And that is because your subconscious beliefs have most of the power.
I suggest trying to truly feel love for yourself as an exercise and pay close attention to what you really feel. If it is anything less than love, you might want to learn how to love yourself as a top priority because it will make everything else fall into place much easier.
