You can learn how to use intuition by quieting your mind and allowing your body to reach a state of coherence so you recognize the “still small voice within.”
Instead of being led by information that comes from “out there,” it’s always a wise thing to see how things feel to you in your physical body. Your body is an amazing instrument with intelligence. It will work with you to guide you toward things that are helpful and away from things that could be harmful.
But it is also important to understand that if you have negative experiences and limiting beliefs, your heart will try to protect you from repeating what it thinks might be a mistake. But it is looking at the past and not at the present.
That is why you must also learn to discern between what is fear because of the past and what is real in the present. There is a big difference and you pick up the clues the more your develop awareness. One big clue is to notice if your thoughts go to a memory of the past.
The more you practice getting to a state of coherence, or peacefulness in your physical body, and staying present, focusing on your breath, the more your brain gets trained to help you stay in that mode as you go about your day. You teach it how to use intuition when you think for yourself, ask questions and let answers come to you that feel right.
